I haven’t been able to find any polls on this primary. While the fundamentals seem to favor Cuellar, the lack of polling makes it very difficult to say for sure who will win.

Lean Cuellar. The Democrats are now aware of these primaries and are likely going to work to shut down every one. Newman is the only challenger who I think might have a real chance this year.

I'm on a campaign that is also endorsed by Emily's List, so I got to see an internal that was 48-26 Cuellar. Sadly I think Cuellar will win 65-35.

The margin was actually pretty surprising since I thought Cuellar would run significantly ahead of Cisneros. That said, the closeness of this race just makes her loss even more disappointing.
