And is IMO a potential Retirement

Inhofe is also I believe the last remaining Holdout on the GOP Side.

Even though his replacement won't be any better, good riddance if he does retire.

Inhofe should retire.

He had his time, plus he is the face of the crazy GOP.

Don Nickles should run for his seat.

No way, barring a Moore-tier Republican. The state is WAY more conservative than that district.

Mary Fallin? Markwayne Mullin?

Didn't Mary Fallin leave office deeply unpopular?

R Senators just like R House members see the writing on the wall, soon Dems will have the Trifecta and they dont want to be in the minority, just like in 2008 when Warner, Domenici, Burns and Allard retired. Mike Enzi already retired. Grassley and Shelby are next, after Johnson and Burr already announced retirement

There is no Dem running unless Brad Henry runs to win the seat. Dems best targets are AK and TX and IA as wave seats

If Conrad Burns were still alive, he’d probably look exactly like Jim Inhofe does now. I’ve always found the resemblances between them eerie.

Abby Broyles seems to be the Democrat with the most excitement around her. Obviously she won't win but always good to have someone to turn out voters for down-ballot races.

Inholfe could have beaten Abby Broiles, but he would have to campaign.  Any other GOP can raise money and campaign against her. And Inhofe is done with campaigning. The Dems are gonna unite behind Abby Broiles, just as they are with Hegar

I've heard a lot of OK Republicans railing against "career politicians" over the last several years. Hopefully they can take their own advice.

Russell losing basically ended his career. Mullin is a much more likely option. Pruitt and Fallin also may run. If Inhofe does decide to run again, that would be rather surprising, but not completely unprecedented.

Ugh....he is too old.

2026 he is gone.

I wonder who replaces him in 2026.
