Well the good news is that it seems his approval regarding the coronavirus has peaked.
Is there any evidence of this?

PPP isn't a good pollster and is the only pollster showing Trump approval stagnant or declining with coronavirus, other pollsters have him going up

Meh. All the polls showed Hillary winning too.

Wouldn't that imply that polls are further underestimating Trump, though?

Gotta love all the hot takes of polls being conducted 8 months before the election.

Almost every poll we've seen has shown Trump underperforming his approval rating in his matchups against Biden. This election is a referendum on Trump. 2016 was on the establishment.

It seems like this is the typical response pattern from those on the right:

Good poll for Trump:  Trump is SURGING!  Re-election certain!

Bad poll for Trump: Polls are worthless!  They showed Hillary winning!

What the hell post are u replying to? TSA said all other polls show Trump approval up and I replied that all other polls showed Hillary winning too. That was to discredit the polls showing Trump approval up genius, not the 1 outlier. I was suggesting that all the polls could be wrong. Damn yall are quick to lash out. You know I'm Never Trump, right?

Not the only one:

Tracking poll has Trump's approval slowly dipping.

OVERAL APPROVAL
3/23: 47/49 (-2)
3/24: 46/51 (-5)
3/25: 46/52 (-6)

CORONAVIRUS APPROVAL
3/23: 52/42 (+10)
3/24: 52/43 (+9)
3/25: 48/48 (=)

Yeah, I know you are.  Sorry, I was just trying to add on to your point, not counter it.  What I posted is indeed a very common reaction from some of the Trump fanatics here, to illustrate that they're not hobbled by consistency.  But in hindsight I see how that could have been perceived as a direct response to you.

His bump, as I expected, was in reaction to things he promised. Had he followed through--increased testing, forcing manufacturing of more masks/supplies, eliminating cost for coronavirus testing/care, etc--then his handling would've deserved approval, at least the 'here and now' part of it.

The problem for him is that he did none of those and in fact has reversed course on every one of them (surprise surprise) and is talking now about his fantasy timeline that he wants to impose in the real world--this combined with the increasing realization of people who had their heads buried in the sand until now that the situation is increasingly dire, and could've been prevented, means reality is setting in and his approvals are coming back down.

Not sure where this nonsense of PPP being a bad pollster came from. They're not A+, but they're not terrible, either. And the other poll tracker I posted in here had his approval going down as well.

Most of his polling bump was a reaction to his behavior last week in contrast to earlier in the month. The polls that measure how this week's actions on the virus are registering with Americans show a clear decline.

I guess we'll see how the United States having the most COVID-19 cases in the world now sits with voters. If there was any justice in the world people would be furious at Trump for at least partially helping let this happen. But then again, when don't Americans love being number one? Trump's outbreaks are the biggest, folks!

I think the key point in disaster preparation is that you should plan for the worst and hope for the best.  The failure of this administration is that they have planned for the best and hoped the worst doesn't happen.

That's actually pretty brilliantly said.

We'll see if the worst does happen to them though. I sure hope so. They deserve to be held accountable for possibly making the worst happen to the country.
