Doesn’t a sentence like this count as a serious charge though :

The disgraced movie mogul faces a minimum of five years and a maximum of 29 years in prison. He was remanded into custody after the verdict

Also it is great news that the victims will finally get justice for the heinous acts Harvey Weinstein committed against them

While I believe the accusers and hope Weinstein gets the maximum, I still find it concerning that nowadays you can get a conviction on such a serious charge without any physical/DNA evidence. The case was simply one person's word against the other's and I don't see how that proves the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

I haven't been closely following the testimony.  Is there a straightforward reason why it seems like the jurors believed the accusations of the two of the accusers but not the third?

I'm reading that he could get anywhere from 4-25 years with these convictions.

Granted he still has the California charges pending, so he's almost certainly dying in jail.

Real life isn't CSI, most cases of any kind do not involve DNA and are based on weighing the credibility of conflicting testimony based on a number of factors that differ from case to case. If physical evidence of this kind was required there would never be any rape convictions. DNA by itself also does not prove sexual assault, all it proves is contact. The accused could just claim they had sex but it was consensual.
