Great job!  Surprised how remarkably consistent the EC map stayed throughout.

What I was expecting to be the last update will instead be split in two. The third update (of four) should be finished sometime this week.

2 more parts?  Awesome.  Going until 48 or 52?

I have some guesses on the next states to flip. I'll have to wait and see how close I am.

I just noticed your 2024 margins, did you add those later?

Had to chuckle when I saw this on Twitter.

Yes, I added the 2024 margin graphic. Every so often I make a few edits to previous chapters (mostly spelling and grammar), but I've had a bout of writers block, so I decided to occupy the time by creating a proper graphic for 2024 (since that is the 'critical' election which really gets the story going).

The margins are very eerie, basically 2012-2020 trends cranked up massively.

A few highlights-blue states states like VT, CT and the PNW swung heavily red (Oregon 48-43!)

Texas being a pure tie. The Castro pick for VP makes sense, but it's fascinating that the entire election hinged on a few thousand votes in texas.  Although I'm surprised that Newsom didn't do better in CO/NV/AZ.

Wisconsin, Maine and NH going to Carlson by near double digit margins.  IA a 20 point blowout!

Tucker you helped create this so the only think i want to hear from your mouth is a full responsibility for leading our nation to this. Tucker will be remembered as the President who destroyed our great nation.

Hopefully a time machine is created by then so we can go back to 2024 and nominate Haley or Marco instead of Tucker or even better go back to 2012 and elect Mitt Romney so the rise of populism is stopped dead in its track with no Trump in 2016.

Even at the end of the timeline insisting that the virgin Haley will save us?

I just read this whole thing.

Trump may lead us down this path and it's scary. The GOP needs to move away from Populists like Trump. Move onto traditional conservatives.

1) How do you define "Traditional Conservatives"?

1.5) How does a Ted Cruz or a Scott Walker build a workable coalition that is competitive in the House and presidential elections?  What is their answer to things like student debt, corporate monopolies (in all but name), economic globalization and rising healthcare costs?  The pre-Trump GOP was unable and/or unwilling to take on issues like these and paid the political price.

2) Trump might act like Huey Long, but he doesn't govern like a firebrand. Paul Ryan, Mark Meadows and Jared Kushner basically set his agenda.  Plus, Trump as it turns out wasn't that interested in the intricate process of governing.
