Former U.S. Rep Ken Holland has announced his intention to run as a Democrat for Governor of South Carolina, and will be making it formal next Tuesday. (link)

Frankly, I don't know why he's running.  It's been over 20 years since he was last active in politics. and with such a late start at the fund raising, if nothing else, I can't see him as having any chance of winning.  This is about as pathetic as when Maddox ran for Governor of Georgia in 1990.
