Despite things being "THE WORST THEY HAVE EVER BEEN....GEORGE BUSH IS SO BAD....CORRUPT....WIRETAPS....BLAH BLAH BLAH...", it appears the Republicans keep looking brighter and brighter.

We are gaining in polls for the Governorships of Maine, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Florida and Minnesota...even maybe Maryland.

Also, Senate is looking good for Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Arizona, Nevada, and New Jersey.

Democrats think they have 2006 nailed...when I think they themselves may be nailed....in shock on November 7th!

Great! Things are looking up in four uncompetitive states. The bookends there are lies though. Steele's and Kean's numbers are not "looking up".

Naso,

You forgot that Iowa and Wisconsin are also pick-up possibilities, but both are so very close right now.

I agree with you, Mr. Naso.  The Democrats must work harder if they wish to win!

I'm glad you can tell me what will happen months from now. One month in politics is forever. We have a lot more than one month to go until the midterms.

If the election were held today, I'd be really surprised since its supposed to be in November.

I suppose it is a good thing for us Republicans that elections aren't in March, eh?  Wink

So far this year, there has only been one party more inept than the Republicans.  It is the Democrats.

Well that depends.  I personally feel that they would do better in March than if in November. =)

Who?  Harkin?  LMAO!  Also Kohl is rocksafe unless Tom Thompson enters (which he won't).

Things look really good. Let's really push the fight. From something as simple as a yard sign to going to rallies to donating money. The GOP will win in 2006!!!

The fact that you feel you have to go the extra mile shows a kind of desperation.  Seriously though, I think Republicans have to admit their spell of good luck will wear off in 2006; you can't going on winning elections forever, its only natural.

I also feel its wrong to put too much stock in polls and predictions at the moment.

So being extra supportive of my party is a sign of desperation? That goes to show your a democrat for sure. Always pessimistic. Why not be happy for your party win or lose?

Sure we can.

1861-1913 = 40 out of 52 years was Republican Rule of White House
1976-2006 = 18 out of 30 years was Republican Rule of White House

Lol, it was not. You maintained that long into the campaign. You even defended it like half-a-year ago or something.
