I'm wondering who you guys think would be the best VP for every candidate. I'd love to hear about your philosophy as well, and not just names.

For instance, I believe when picking a VP, the state matters a little, but a candidate should be trying to sure up their weaknesses with their own base with a steady candidate. As an example, Donald Trump had a bit of a weakness with religious people. When he picked Pence, that really energized the religious to get out and vote and to do so in favor of Trump, because they trusted Pence.

An example of a terrible VP pick was McCain. His health was always a concern and then he went and picked a totally inexperienced candidate in Sarah Palin that made constant gaffs.

So what do you think a candidate should look for in a VP and who do you think would be best for each candidate?
