Baltimore stopped recycling glass 7 years ago, didn't tell anyone

but they still want people to put their glass in the recycling..ya know, to stay in the habit.

In the meantime, county officials have been reluctant to tell residents not to recycle their glass for fear of derailing a good habit.

“It’s unfortunate that we can’t tell people we have a better solution right now,” Lafferty said. “We know it’s an important issue.”

It's okay, this has become acceptable in America. Everybody will whine for 2 days and then stop caring and forget this is even happening.
