We've had Klobuchar in 1st in 3 precincts, the 2 Florida ones and the Arizona one. Biden is about 10 points below in the teens. Clearly something is awry here, and I don't think it's stretching too much to say it may be a sign we should expect Biden to underperform.

I apologize if this has already been posted here, but:

Sanders managed to lose one vote in the allignment and not gaining any votes from Warren lol

When all is said and done, I'm not so sure that there will be much overlap between Sanders and Warren supporters. Warren's support is not monolithic despite her policy positions.

I mean, this doesn't mean much, but do we think this kind of thing lowers the chance of a Sanders blowout (40%+)?

I'm concerned about Sanders too. This will be a long night. Klobuchar shows that she's participating and that this is a five-way race.

40% of iowas vote is in 5/6 counties and this is where sanders is going to rack up the score.

Biden seems to be collapsing before our eyes. Unless there is just a totally different dynamic in the precinct caucuses, he is in huge trouble.

If this does happen, I hope Republicans don't give impeachment and the 'Burisma scandal' credit for it. Trump is probably going to invite foreign interference in US elections anyway, but a minor downside of Biden doing badly will be that he could be even further encouraged.

Biden is underperforming precisely because of Burisma.

Sanders seems to be doing well to me. Klobuchar is doing well so far. Biden is really hurting and I'd be concerned if I was Warren actually. Buttigieg is kind of all over.

There are not going to be any precincts within Iowa that are composed of 100% seniors like the retirement home satellite caucus ones in Florida and Arizona.

Sanders is better at satellite caucuses frequented by younger people and worse at satellite caucuses frequented by older people, basically what we've expected anyways. Can't really draw any actual conclusions from the satellite caucus results, even though they're fun to watch.

CNN interviewed 2 Pete people and 1 Biden supporter. The Biden supporter had Klobuchar as 2nd option. One of the Pete supporters had Sanders as 2nd option.

CNN just interviews a woman who might have the key to Klobmentum, if it actually is a thing. She decided last week, and says shes going to vote for Biden, but her number two was Amy. And then...things might just be happening once people hit the floor. Her reasoning? Wants someone confident who can beat Trump, same stuff as Amy. Just a guess.

Klobachar will never beat Trump.  Shes an abusive boss, as much as I like her moderateness.

You are allowed to bribe caucusgoers?

What if Bloomberg or Steyer shows up and offers $100 bills?

I really doubt that satellite caucuses are very indicative of the greater results. For one thing, with the ones taking place outside Iowa at least, many of these caucus-goers haven't been inundated with constant ads targeting them which may or may not affect the eventual decisions of who to caucus for.

Let's just be patient and see what happens. I guess that's easy for me to say though because I have no real emotional investment in this nomination campaign.

She will hammer him. The map will be expanded dramatically and she will make lots of senate seats and congressional seats viable.

She will put Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Pennslyvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia and she could actually do quite well in Nebraska2 and Missouri.

If I was Barbara bollier in kansas I would want klobuchar on top of the ticket.

I mean, you can physically pull people into your camp for their vote if so desired and strong enough...at least this was a thing last time, maybe not anymore with the voter cards. A lot of things are legal in caucuses. The problem with both of these things though is that you see peoples faces, and these people are your neighbors. Social peer pressure keeps people in line.
