Hello, If the mods don't approve of this type of posting in off-topic it's fine (please don't moderate it, I'll delete it)

But, Today I made a big first step for myself socially. I was at one of my basketball games, (I record them as the manager). I saw a girl I thought was cute, and I approached her and she was the manager for the other team, and I started talking to her and after a few minutes, I asked her for her Snapchat. While for most people and most of the time this wouldn't matter, I felt that it was a big step forward for me as I usually struggle socially with talking to people without feeling like I'm coming off too strong. I'm now talking to her and trying to keep my cool, but I just felt like it would be cool to share with you guys since I know some of you struggle with social anxiety and social issues. If you just act like yourself everything will go fine.

good job stepping up, it's SOOO hard to do.  The regrets of not doing it can haunt a man for a lifetime.

this only works for people who are not piles of dung. Wink But yes, it's always better to be yourself as much as possible when meeting new people.

I am sure this will keep the interest of the Atlas members at fever-pitch for the next 10 days. The only other things we have to talk about are a deadly Asian virus and an innocent President.

One small step for Snapchat. One giant leap for Mankind.

I'll grant that for political reasons, the Republicans in the Senate will refuse to admit the obvious and find Trump not guilty, but he's hardly innocent.

Multiple Republican senators later admitted that his actions were inappropriate but didn't want to tear the nation apart!

As long as she acknowledges Trump is guilty, you have my blessing.

Glad it started well and hope it continues, but the real trick is, if it doesn't turn out to be a match, that you do it again.

Pence wouldn't be that bad as President.

Her family owns a dairy farm in Wisconsin. So I'd assume her opinion is negative.

But, I don't think it went well. We were messaging pretty good until about 30 minutes ago when she just blocked me out of nowhere. I'm kind of put off by this, but I'll keep on trying. Smiley
