Any chance the government parties make a deal not to run in every constituency so that NZ First and the Greens are guaranteed to enter the parliament by getting a safe FPTP seat?

What caused NZ First to collapse so hard as well? Was it a mistake to form a coalition with the left?

Could the special votes bring Labour to 50%? And the Greens to 3rd place? Would be a nice cherry on top for the NZ left.
