As bad as Kennedy's lie was, Kerry's is even dumber. What a clown.

Measured in column-inches, Kerry's is much worse.  I make it two-to-one.  Kerry's not really known for brevity.  Kennedy at least had the sense to stay away from erudite phrases such as "absent a multiple regression analysis"  I say, when you're playing up bigotries and going for simple-minded stereotyping, brevity is probably best.  The soul of wit.

Ah sh**t!  I had some kind of neural aneurism or something.  voted Kennedy.  Meant to vote Kerry.

Kennedy's was worse because it was effective.  Kerry's rambles a bit.  Yeah I was shocked by the "multiple regression analysis" bit, too.  He is just unable to communicate, and its obvious when you see the quotes next to each other that Kerry was trying to copy Kennedy, but just fails.

Both are 100% true. Republicans are sick and twisted people with nothing but the destruction of America on their minds.

Flyers, you really degrade yourself when you climb into bed with that guy.

Do you really believe that a man like Bork would have brought back segregation and condoned rogue police breaking down innocent people's doors late at night?  You don't have to agree with all Bork's views, but that comment by Kennedy was one of the most disgusting political comments made in a generation.  Let's not forget that it was Kennedy's party, not the Republicans, who supported segregation in any case. 

And I'll add something else -- refusal to fund something doesn't amount to censorship.  Not giving certain artists money doesn't mean censoring them; they're still allowed to create and display their artwork if they can find someone else to fund it.  Of course, they usually can't, and that says something.  But I hate the liberal contention that government declining to fund something equates to banning it.  That lays bare a very dangerous part of the liberal mentality.

As far as the Alito comments, I love the one about multiple regression analysis.  So now I guess we should apply racial quotas to sentencing.  You realize that if that were ever implemented, your working class white Philadelphia neighborhood would likely be overrun with black criminals.  But hey, if that's what you want, go for it man.

Obviously.  As you can see on this board, most 'conservatives' are quite steamed that segregation was ever ended.
