This isn't a one-day national primary. Black voters in the South are going to put a stop to this madness.

Not sure that'll be enough. Besides some Black voters in the South will vote for the billionaires.

Did Bernie ever lead a CNN national poll in 2016?

Biden made a racist comment about busing and he wants blacks to endorse him, when Bernie starts winning. Biden's support will crack

You love to see it. First, the narrative was... "If the primaries were all held on one day, Biden would crush." News flash: The early states are even more favorable to Bernie than the national environment. Not saying he wins the nomination, but leading nationally means he would very likely win 3/4 of the early contests. It doesn't benefit your candidate.

Biden's trend among black voters isn't great. We only see a non-white number here where he's actualy losing to Bernie so he probably still leads among black voters but Q poll also showed him in a single digit lead, MC shows him at 15% lead, so it isn't that great for him.

His campaign accepted tons of foreign donations in 2016, and got 600 pages of FEC complaints from it, and nobody cared.... so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rough morning for you.  Glad you found this meaningless BS no one cares about to help creep back from the ledge.

Accepting foreign donations is not meaningless because it is against the law. But considering that Sanders supporters think falling in the shower is cool, I'm not surprised at your post.

What is your opinion of the quote a lot of Sanders supporter say, "falling in the shower is cool"?

That might make sense if Biden wasn't up in polling in Iowa and close in New Hampshire. Besides, national polling is pretty much useless because Sanders is probably running up score in states with fewer delegates like he did in 2016.

'
The problem with that is Biden is leading Bernie among Black voters by only 16% (41% to 25%) with Warren 3rd & more of Warren's supporters have Bernie as 2nd Choice than Biden. This is not a huge gap & is also Bernie's best performance.

Meanwhile Bernie is beating Joe Biden by 14% among Hispanic voters which isn't going to go well for Biden in Nevada & for California's 400+ Delegates. If Biden is ahead it is because he has a small lead among White Voters. Biden's lead among Black voters has fallen significantly & Sanders is leading Hispanic voters by enough amount to make up for that. If anything with a good result in iowa & NH & Warren fading off, the lead among Hispanics could further increase.

Once the primaries begin, we will have a rural v urban divide and South will go heavily to Biden and North will go to Sanders. But, Bernie in order to win will have to win pick up either AZ, FL, or TX and win MI, IL and one of the two of OH and PA.

If Sanders get the nomination, then good luck to him beating Trump. He certainly won't be getting the votes of many African-American voters who have no attachment to him. Another Trump midterm in 2022 would allow Democrats to pick up more Senate seats anyway.

Sanders would struggle to turn out black voters. Trump's Russian bot army is well prepared to flood social media with some of Sanders' more questionable statements on race and create doubt about him to keep black voters home.

Weird how Sanders' supposedly questionable statements on race never seem to materialize but will DEFINITELY cause him to lose support among black voters. And yet Biden's history of opposing busing, working with segregationists, and saying racially insensitive things never seems to matter.

Stay sweatin'.

When he lost primaries in the south last time he blamed it on the confederacy, he has said that class is a bigger issue than race and there is his overall lack of connection to black voters. Biden has his problems, but his connection to Obama more or less negates them.

The last three Democratic Presidents have been from states with a higher than average population, so they knew how to connect with black voters. But it really doesn't matter because Sanders won't become the nominee because he can't get enough of the black vote.

Unfortunately, a big electoral defeat in 2020 would mean the GOP gets control of the House again.  Also, it means they win a lot of control at the state level, which will let them lock that control down with more gerrymandering.

We have to win this year, period.

Unfortunately that would probably be the consequences of Sanders being the nominee. If Democratic primary voters are stupid enough to nominate him then they are handing Trump another term.

There is making a case in good faith that Sanders is not the most electable candidate.

And then there is descending into absurdities.

This is much less offensive than any number of things Biden has said about black people. Not to mention him being very proud of being close with literal segregationists.
