Whereas I, finding myself deeply disturbed with the growing power of socialists and reactionaries, I do henceforth pledge to vote my conscience. Of the major party candidates, I could see myself voting for Bloomberg, Buttigieg, or Klobuchar happily, if not without reservations. I would probably vote for Biden, though he’s quite a bit to my left now. I will definitely vote third party if Steyer, Sanders, or Warren is the nominee against Trump, even though I live in a swing state. Their prescriptions for American society are as dangerous and reckless as those of Donald Trump’s, just in a different way.

I encourage everyone here, whether they live in Vermont or Wyoming or Ohio or Florida, to ask yourselves before you vote: Am I satisfied with my candidate? Will they make the country better, or will they endanger the American position, abroad and at home? You must vote your conscience; you can do neither more nor less.

I can't vote, but if I were a U.S. citizen, I'd vote for pretty much any Democratic nominee. Aside of the fact that I'd simply prefer to have a Democrat over a Republican because a Democrat, no matter how much of a moderate hero, would still have to govern in a certain direction (and a Republican President would still have to govern according to the GOP ideology, which I oppose vehemently), I'd especially vote for anybody in order to deny Trump the second term. Even if it's someone like Bloomberg, whom I detest. I'd be pretty unhappy with Bloomberg (and, to a lesser extend, Biden) was a Democratic nominee, but I'd be more unhappy with four more years of the orange clown.

Every Democrat, from European social dem...I mean 'raving communist' Sanders to bourgeois Bloomberg will be better for America and for it's institutions than Donald Trump.

Except Tulsi. Might as well re-elect Trump.

Any choice that has any right to include the word "conscience" would be opposing the moral monstrosity that is Donald Trump.

I will vote my conscience to vote for any candidate offering structural change instead of wanting do-nothing solutions.

I would like to know how Steyer, Warren, and Sanders are worse than Trump

Steyer, Warren, and Sanders would do much of the same things as most Democrats. The real question here is do you want uncontrollable climate change and a far right reactionary Supreme Court, if so, then vote for Trump, if you want four more years of us being embarrassed on the international stage, vote for Trump, if you don't want that, then vote Democrat

Policy wise Trump is easily better than any of them, but I am voting against Trump cause of his horrible behavior but that doesnt mean I will vote Dem .

I refuse to vote for people who will double our federal spending and weaken our position on the world stage. If you think Donald Trump sucks at foreign policy, wait until Sanders takes office. He’d make Cheney or Rumsfeld look like a foreign policy genius.

Yeah, I can understand making this policy determination. I don't agree, but I can see it. I guess I just have a problem with using the word conscience, which to me relates to moral issues, on which Trump is absolutely abhorrent.

The phrase Vote your conscience basically means vote for whomever you want to vote for, just not the lesser of two evils.

If you didn't think this, Sanders would be doing something wrong.
