Kind of an amusing side note, WV was excited to announce that Clorox is building a new plant in Berkeley Co (just across the border from Frederick) that will bring 100 jobs to manufacture cat litter.

Clorox selected Berkeley County “due to the local workforce availability, nearby resources, and regional transportation infrastructure – including rail”.

Unmentioned in the story is that Berkeley was selected after Frederick county rejected the plant because of quality of life concerns and that it may negatively affect property values.
