If Trump wins reelection as president and AG Bill Barr resigns from government and back to private life, who will be Trump's second term AG?

Kris Kobach, if he loses the Kansas Senate race?

I don't think Barr resigns in 2021 if Trump is reelected. Kobach won't be AG if he loses in KS, because Trump will be out if KS-Sen goes Dem.

Otherwise, Trey Gowdy? Doug Collins? Or some other congressional lapdog. Graham is unlikely, because he'll be just reelected in 2021. Doubtful he resigns from the senate weeks or months into his new term.

Chris Christie, Henry McMaster, Janice Rogers Brown, or Noel Francisco. Brown probably, if Kushner has a say in it.

In all seriousness, probably someone like Noel Francisco.

Trump isnt winning reelection due to fact Crts have already ruled Trump can be indicted while in office, and voters will feel since the GOP Senate wont remove him, they will

Nah, not anymore. If any obvious Trump ally ever turns against him or can incriminate him, he just pretends that he never knew of them or their existence.

Ken Cuccinelli, Chris Christie, and Pam Bondi are great answers that users have already posted. I am surprised to see that nobody has suggested Rudy Giuliani.

Christie pissed off Jared Kushner and Giuliani might be in prison by then, so I think they're out of the question.

Pam Bondi.

After 3 years of AG duty, she'll be 2024 VP material.

Awesome! She can run with DeSantis and nullify Florida for the Republicans!

She won't run for President, but if DeSanitis isn't the nominee, she'd be VP material.  She's from the most marginal swing state.

Oh yeah! Christie is definitely out of the club. Giuliani is Trump's most loyal sycophant, and they go back a ways. Trump will pardon Giuliani in your scenario, however.
