The Democrats' strongest candidate, John Hickenlooper (mayor of Denver) has yet to declare his candidacy but it will probably happen. Their current candidate, Bill Ritter, is right there with the two Republican candidates:

Hickenlooper  43%
Beauprez       38%

Hickenlooper  46%
Holtzman       36%

Ritter             38%
Beauprez      39%

Ritter             35%
Holtzman       39%

Colorado is a state I really want to go Democratic over the next few years. I went to graduate school there and I think it has the potential to be a strongly Democratic state.

Around the same time Minnesota is strongly Republican.

Minnesota Republicans peaked in 2002. The state is swinging back to the Democrats.

Some interesting data...
Hickenlooper does better against Beauprez than against Holtzman, while the two declared Democrats are doing better against Holtzman than against Beauprez...also, there seems to be quite a bit of Republican support for Dem candidates and vice versa. Crosstabs would be very interesting, to see if there's a regional element to this.
