Many thanks to all who have endorsed our campaign!!  With Election Day rapidly approaching, I have been focusing on what my priorities will be if I am elected to the Senate next weekend.

As Frémont's next senator, my main objective will be to fight to level the playing field for middle class families as well as the poor.  As a progressive, I believe it is imperative that we fight for social and economic justice from the bottom-up, rather than the top-down, and that in doing so we acknowledge the dignity inherent to all our people.  No matter how wealthy a nation is, no matter how robust its military or wide its global influence, it shall never be stronger than its weakest link.

That is why I will work to end wage garnishments which disproportionately affect the poorest among us.  In addition to this, I will be introducing a bad credit relief bill, based on real legislation introduced in the United States Congress, that will shorten the time negative information stays on your credit report from seven years to four.  The bill will also provide immediate relief to victims of identity theft who have fraudulent debt on their credit reports.  This is a very personal issue to me as one who's experienced identity theft in real life.

On another matter, I have recently requested the endorsement of the Federalist Party, in coordination with Senator North Carolina Yankee, so as to encourage competition in our elections.  As of now, I am currently the only declared candidate in this race.  But democracy only works when the people have a real choice in the voting booth.  I welcome competition in this race be it from the right or the left, and I encourage that same spirit in all our elections across the nation.

The elections have concluded, and we have won!

Congratulations to President Pericles, Senator tack, Senator-elect LT, First Minister Truman, and all the winners of the local and federal races.

I am very pleased that voters in all three regions voted to ratify the amendment to overturn the Citizens United ruling.  With this vote, democracy may finally be returned to the citizens of our great country, and not the handful of special interests or billionaires who wish to buy our elections.

Once again, I lament the fact that both of the top races on our ballot in the region were uncompetitive, as well as the election for Parliament, but a Senate seat will be open in April, so hopefully all the parties and candidates see that opportunity to run spirited campaigns and give the voters a real choice.

As we prepare for the upcoming session, my priorities remain the same: to provide much-needed relief for miners, as well as other workers who no longer have job security in this age of automation, and to introduce a bad credit relief bill that will open up doors for millions of Atlasians across the country to good economic opportunities.  I will work with anyone who shares these goals to give everyday Atlasians a chance at success.

The hard work begins now.
