"Back on track" means polling at 39% and 41% against two little known Democrats?

Those are pretty horrible numbers for the Governator.

Interesting...looks like Ahnuld might still survive then. I'm sort of torn, I kind of like him, but on the other hand I'm rooting for the Democrats to make some gains now.

When you're the incumbent, leading 1unknown 41-39 and losing to another unknown 39-40 isn't exactly good.

Um, what? California actually voted Republican in 1988, anyway.

I just can't take the guy seriously never have done, never will do. I can only speak for myself but I found a certain aspect of his phrasiology at the Republican National Convention somewhat infantile

Yes it did.  We all know at this point that MissCatholic knows absolutely nothing about history and is a human wasteland.

I wouldn't go so far as to predict a reelection for Schwarzenegger just yet...

My personal opinion of Arnold is that he is a pretty good Govenor the only reason I think why he is having trouble is because CA is Sooo Screwed up beyond belief. That he can't get anything done.

Fmr. Governor Davis's handling of the energy crisis was very poor to say the least.

Come election time most of the Republicans will support him and a lot of the type of people who don't vote in the polls will probably come out and support him. I still say lean victory for Arnold.

I think you are correct, Arnold will win with roughly 3-5% points.  Sen. McClintock's running for Lt. Governor undoubtedly helps Schwarzenneger as it will draw conservatives to the polls who may have otherwise remained at home.
