This coming from the political party that in early 2017 tried to make it legal to hit protesters with cars.

Good thing they didn't succeed in Charlottesville but the damage was already done for one person.

These numbers are ugly for a President... usually, the public gives the commander in chief the benefit of the doubt when it comes to military decisions.

Trump compensates for his lack of intelligence and competence by doubling down on the lying and criminal behavior.

We've gone from impending attacks on four embassies that were days away to "attacks were in the works, but it doesn't matter" whether or not attacks were impending.

I would be able to swallow this whole affair a lot more easily if this administration could get on the same page.

They can't say that. It would be too confusing to Republican voters.

But blue avatars are telling us that this Iran-attack blunder is popular, and that trump will get good marks for it.
What happened?

Trump wasted what little credibility he needs in a situation like this because he lies about everything.

Should Trump consult with Congress if he plans to launch more military strikes in the Middle East?

Woah, woah, woah. I'm pretty sure there was an Atlas thread that told me Americans totally supported the hit on Soleimani and we were all idiots for predicting otherwise. Clearly this is fake news.

Ah, but it's the liberals who want a war with Iran, right ChairmanSanchez?

Trumps remarks appear to indicate that the liberal’s desired “Iranian War of 2020“ is already over.

Video. CNN exclusive: What's left of Al-Asad air base after Iran missile attack.

For those questioning if Iran was not aiming at American personnel, here is video of the aftermath.
In it, it shows how housing for some of the troops was either directly hit, or was destroyed from the aftermath of very close explosions (fires).

His previous bumbling in foreign and defense policies already used up such benefits as have the bubbles of previous administrations in Iraq.

I still can't believe we have troops there without a Patriot missile system.

Although Trump said he is doing nothing, I would hazard a guess that the US military would be active in the background to make sure Iran suffers a lot of issues with regards to their capacity to do this again.

The trick is not to follow the obvious media focused 'CNN reported' strategy.

So far, so good.

Iran look like a pack of clowns, and CNN has nothing bad to report on Trump. It's kind of embarrassing to read their home page, and smell the desperation.

Isn't that crazy?
We seem to protect our allies and their important structures in the Middle East with Patriot anti-missile systems, more than our bases in the area.

There are a grand total of sixteen Patriot battalions in the U.S.Army, too few to have one everywhere.

Even so, Patriot has a dismal record in the anti-missile role.

We seem to have enough Patriot battalions to protect murderous Saudi billionaires. But then they would rank higher on the Banana Republicans priority list than the lives of our men and women in uniform, wouldn't they?

Americans do support the strike. By four points. ??

Holy sh**t, and that's coming from a Marines veteran on the right.

This just might happen.
