How would Palin have done in the 2016 primaries?

Considering who got the 2016 Republican nomination, I have to think she at least had some chance. She's plainspoken, but probably wouldn't have made as many gaffes as Trump (though still would make plenty..don't get me wrong), She's seen as an outsider, though not to the degree Trump is. Her personal life isn't nearly as messy as Trump's. She probably wouldn't emphasize trade protectionism and immigration restriction as much, which would hurt her chances.

Terribly as she wouldn’t even get 1/4 of the free media Trump did which was critical for Trump and also she would get absolutely obliterated on there debate stage while Trump just was able to bully himself through most of the debates .

She probably drops out during the primaries. She was really unelectable (e.g. Troopergate, an overall poor governorship, hurting McCain a lot more than she helped him in 2008) & if she tried to be controversial like Trump, then it'd probably be used against her in a whole "See, Palin really is stupid!" type of way.
