Ok, I have a confession to make: I don't know where the Grand Mufti meme got started and at this point I'm afraid to ask.

My memory is a bit Fuzzy, but SoA is - I believe - a Muslim of Palestinian descent and Fuzzy disagreed with something he said so he started randomly demanding that SoA denounce the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem for being a Nazi collaborator.

And when SoA didn't comply Fuzzy declared him a "fan" of the Grand Mufti.

The problem is that Dule is skilled enough at what he does to inspire imitation from people who lack his wit. It's not funny when less creative people recycle jokes for the sake of getting attention, especially when the copy their form without grasping the underlying spark.
