China is far from a socialist state. Secondly, US should not interfere or intervene in foreign countries, and this is absolutely inappropriate. Thirdly, the people of Hong Kong and Taiwan would reject accession to the USA. Fourthly, USA would create a diplomatic crisis and possibly a new cold war if it does.

What? Foreign policy is inappropriate? Should the USA drop all alliances? Should the USA intervene in a genocide?

No, i have never said that. I meant interfere with election's or a nation's domestic policy or intervene a military action. The USA shouldn't drop alliances, although IMO they should with a few nations like Saudi Arabia and Israel. Hands off from crime nations. Secondly, USA should intervene like the rest of the world should if a genocide takes place.

Would we be interfering in their issues by offering? Regardless of how silly an idea it is, it would ultimately be up to them to decide what they’d want. There’s obviously reasons not to do this, but I don’t see “interfering with other nations” as one of them.

Saying it again isn't an argument.

Yes, b/c that would start a nuclear war and then I wouldn't have to go to work

I bet if the gov paid Lockheed Martin and Microsoft enough they could build a missile defense shield around all of North America so that only China gets hit, plus US gov should form the Pan-Pacific Defense Corps with all free nations of the Pacific and build a fleet of terminator robots to decimate the Axis of Evil.

Offer? No. Accept if freely requested? I'd vote yes, but it would turn the Cold War with the PRC up to 11.
