Vote. I know we had an extramarital sex thread before, but I think that was about cheating.

I have not, and never would. That's probably my most traditional position.

I feel bad for people who get married before making sure they will get along physically...

Yes I would. I am actually racing to get it done before I graduate in June. It's something I think is an intregal part of adulthood. And I am already the oldest virgin in Ringgold High School.

Yes. Sexual technique and confidence is something that everyone needs to learn. Besides 'marriage' is not technically an option for some of us on the forum! Either way I don't see the slightest thing wrong with pre-marital sex, particularly with someone you love. As for one night stands I've had a few and hated them afterwards.

I simply don't see any reason to, and it would be a waste of my time anyway.

That is hiliarous, everett!  How long do you think it takes exactly?  Maybe an hour, tops.

You should seek counseling, btw.

Sure, but probably only if I was in a relationship with the woman in question.

Yes (D).  I have no problem with this and neither do my parents.  If you use some form of contraception, it's all good.

Absolutely not.  Also, I don't plan to if I did get married either, but that's for a whole different reason.

What if your wife insists? I mean, unless you plan on marrying Everett... Tongue

You know, opebo is making me feel bad for voting yes. In my opinion, if you're in a loving relationship sex is fine, if you both know what you're doing and are willing to take any risks involved.

^^^^^^^^^

There has to be an emotional connection between the woman I love and me before we ever get intimate.  That is my only requirement when considering having pre-marital sex.

Yes. "Try before you buy is my motto" Wink. No seriously, I've never been a one-night stand dude. For me to appreciate the joy of sex I must be in a love and commitment relationship

Not neccesarily. Don't count on it. Anyone should be able to within the first two years though.

There is actually three major categories on this topic, not before marriage, not before I have a stable and loving relationship, and I’d pay for it if need be.  Obviously, opebo is in the third group, while I suspect you’re in the second one.

As for my hypothetical wife, I have to say that first I really don’t see myself getting married, but if I did, we’d have to respect each others beliefs and choices, so she would have to understand my disgust for sex, and not insist on it.

I don't really get why it's such a big deal.  It's like, gross.  Sorry, but that's just how I feel.

That there is Grin. I've never had to pay for it, thus I consider myself lucky Wink

I'd be willing to bet that half of everybody (not necessarily the people on this forum) who claims that they are "waiting for marriage" or find pre-marital sex immoral are just making excuses for the fact that they aren't getting any and should a hot girl (or guy, whatever) suddenly approach them and ask if they wanted to have sex without the risk of an STD or pregnancy, they would take the opprotunity.

Took me a while, but I never gave the "waiting until marriage" bullsh**t either.
