Duke is a less damaged candidate than Moore, and Doug Jones >>>> Bill Jefferson. Duke's views aren't far outside the Republican mainstream, and LA has only gotten redder and redder.

Tekken_Guy probably wants to know why it matters that Jefferson is black? After all, it's clear his position is that Republicans win approximately 85% of white vote in Louisiana because they just all believe in smaller government and federalism. Has nothing to do with race at all, which is why these guys would never back David Duke.
