I refuse to believe that even he would sink this low. Proof is needed.

Try the discussion pages on politicalbetting. Once again he wants to take the limelight away from another politician.

He's there and he was rightfully booed.

It's true!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4584056.stm

I didn't think he would sink *this* low... the **** should be expelled from the Commons immediately... what makes it worse is that he has apparently said the reason why he's doing this is to:

"To get away from constant telephone and email traffic"

From his constituents presumably Roll Eyes

Reality television.  They all get locked in a house and watched 24/7.

In one area I must give credit to the British lefties from whom I have heard.

They realize Galloway is a slimebag.

American lefties by comparison tend to be rather stupid and embrace him on the simple basis that anyone opposed to George Bush is ok.

I'm hoping to get into the Newham and Tower Hamlets count for the London Boroughs election in May. I never have any idea how long these things are meant to last, but I hope he is out of the House by then.

Of course I'm also investigating personal protection.

It's a disgrace, he represents one of the most deprived seats in the country and doesn't do squat, I used to defend him in the past, but now I intensly dislike him, not so much for his ideological stances but because he is not a real politician, he is a media whore with more ego than principles. Him appearing on celebrity big brother says it all...

I wonder if he can take attention away from Michael Barrymore defacing a picture of the queen?

He hasn't been doing his job for roughly the last 3 or 4 years and nobody noticed until now. Amazing what the power of television can achieve.

Apparenty, sufficient enough loons actually voted for Galloway before the Senate Committee as being their highlight of 2004 Roll Eyes

Galloway, arguably, might have rang rings round Coleman but he sure didn't with Levin

Hilarious.

Guido Westerwelle did the same thing 5 years ago btw. Of course that was before they had all these silly "task"s, back when the show was new and there actually were people watching it.

Galloway is to be investigated by the Speaker over the fact that his name has appeared on several Early Day Motions while he's been on Big Brother. No one is sure how he's done it...

What he [Mr Speaker] said in the Commons should be repeated here methinks Grin

"I do know that some MPs give authority to another MP to put their name on such a motion. But I can't think of any Member who would do so in this instance.
I will look into the matter. That's the best I can do and I will continue watching Big Brother in my spare time"

These are clearly sufficient grounds to replace him as Speaker.
