He lost a senate race by one vote very very very early in Atlasian history, as I seem to recall.

He also used to have a decent ideology. He's gone off the deep end recently, becoming a European far-rightist.

That happened years ago. ~2005.

He ran against Bono in the October 2004 Senate race (which ran concurrently with the Presidential election that elected PBrunsel), losing by 7-5.

I think he ran four months earlier too, and lost to Migrendel in a three man race after Republicans refused to give him second preferences because he was an OMGChavistOMG.

He wasn't, he just didn't support the US bombing Venezuela into oblivion. Those were the Bushie Dark Ages.

Hardly. The "populist nationalist"/Social Democrat to Far Rightist (to Mainline Conservative when he's through with that) line to his thinking was always there in his thinking. Just like Red Opebo was always waiting to come out inside Blue Opebo.

I've done no recruiting, and this is all just sickening. The amount of tactical regional registration here especially is just downright disgusting. Seriously, what's the point of this game if you care about nothing but winning? But oh, I've been on this rant last election and nothing changed. Sometimes I wonder what the point of all this is anymore.

While Hamilton's reputation isn't exactly good at the moment, I think this may mark a new beginning for him, and after talking to him, I get the impression he wants help his reputation in the future. So, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and welcome him to the party. However, if he acts out of line again, I will be quite disappointed.

Let's look at it this way, we have Xahar, right? He was once a criminal, so I think we can be the party of second chances.

Maybe so, maybe so. Allow me to remain sceptical. There's nothing I can do against it, anyways. (The threat to leave only regards zombie recruitment, not his presence as such.)

As far as the general issue of LNF members supporting or doing anything, the LNF's structure is so decentralised that there's little in the way of collective responsibility - which, btw, also means that there can be little in the way of collective blame.

That don't stop certain people.

Though I suppose the same is true for other parties as well. Though of course everyone knows who's meant and who isn't. Most of the time.
