It was off by 18 points, it did worse than most of this forum.

It was off by at least 18. Like wow, it was off by a smaller amount than I thought but still off by a laughable and mockable amount.

0/10. They were off by 18, even some of the polls which had Bevin winning were closer to the truth. Mason-Dixon (which had the race tied) was by far the most accurate poll.

Only on Atlas would people think a Beshear +19 poll was more accurate than a Bevin +1 poll for a Beshear +0.3 result.

Yeah let's not forget that the people predicting a Bevin+20 win were almost as accurate as Targoz. They were very close to getting the winner wrong too despite predicting him to win by 19 points!

GOP operatives are using the Targoz poll to say Trump closed a 19 point gap.

I'm laughing at Gravis for being so stupidly inaccurate.

Ridiculously bad margin, wrong by double digits, and had the Libertarian getting more than twice what was ultimately to pass. I'm not sorry for thinking Targoz looked terribad, even if it was a bad omen.

Remember that 538 states that if a poll suggests a result of R+1 and the actual result was D+1, that poll would have been more accurate than if the actual result was R+10 (due to the magnitude of the polling difference).

Nobody deserves an apology, if anything the pollsters deserve blame. I suspect more outfits went into the state then we will ever realize, they just ended up like RRH and threw aside their numbers because they didn't seem to make sense. the only people who released it were the bad pollsters like Targoz. We the viewers got so little data that we ended up with only one data point: the state partisanship, and one more uncertain data point: that Bevin was unpopular. This led to everyone hopping on the Bevin train, but if we had anything, literally anything, then the train probably would have lost steam. I would have been on it if we had data proving the position.  When your going in blind, you go with your gut, and thats not a good place to be when you are in the business of political analysis.

Trump took it upon himself to personally reverse the poll’s projections and made Beshear really fight for it in the last 24 hours of the campaign obv. Some people are saying there are still votes trickling in for Bevin and that he could win by like 19 votes if all keeps up.

Nope, it's a done deal. The Secretary of State already certified the results.

So tough toilets, Bevin.

A 18 points error is not a great record
