Assuming Scotland became independent and wanted a monarchy, regardless of the likelihood thereof, which of these would you support? Which would be most likely?

Richard Scott, 10th Duke of Buccleuch and 12th Duke of Queensberry: Scott is the second largest landowner not just in Scotland, but, by some sources, in the United Kingdom; he is only surpassed byAnders Holch Povlsen, the richest Danish billionaire on Earth, who owns 221,000 acres of land to Scott's 217,000.  As the male heir of the eldest son, but illegitimate son, of Charles II, he has a (il)legitimate claim to the throne of Scotland.

John Douglas Stuart: The 21st Earl of Moray, Stuart is the eldest male line descendant of James V, the last King of Scotland but not England, by one of his illegitimate sons. Despite not being very famous, Stuart retains the family name of the last British monarch.

Prince Harry: Whereas Queen Elizabeth II is still widely popular in Scotland, picking her younger grandson as the King of Scotland would symbolize continuity with the House of Windsor, without turning to some foreign royal or local aristocrat.

Boring answer, but an independent Scotland that still had a monarchy would almost certainly remain in personal union with England on the same terms as Canada, Australia, Jamaica, etc.

Elect Erik Prince as King and then the whole country can be under Blackwater Company Rule and the base of NATO operations against Russia.

Exactly, and I think that scenario is extremely likely in the event Scotland becomes independent (I think an independent Scotland would keep the monarchy). This scenario (personal union with England) is also what i'd support in the event of Scottish independance.

But in OP's scenario, with the assumption that personal union with the other Commonwealth realms was off the table, this would be my preference:
1. Prince Harry
2. Earl of Moray
3. Duke of Buccleuch

Not until we figure out what is going on.

Can I ask why you prefer Prince Harry over the Earl of Moray or the Duke?

Why wasn't the Jacobite Pretender, Franz Bonaventura Adalbert Maria Herzog von Bayern, included in the poll?

This of course, but the correct answer is that it should ditch the monarchy and become a republic (sane).

Because he does not respond to his claim, and the Jacobites claim the whole of Britain.

Simply because whether within the Union or as an independent kingdom, HM Elizabeth II is the legitimate monarch of Scotland, and thus Prince Harry is the candidate out of these three who's closest in the line of succession (i don't even believe the other two are even in the line of succession at all) and is also a member of the House of Windsor, the Scottish royal family, and thus has the best claim out of these three.

Then I give precedence to the Earl of Moray for having a more ancient title.

I'd say Randolph Stewart, 13th Earl of Galloway. Voted Stuart.

I'd say Randolph Stewart, 13th Earl of Galloway. Voted Stuart.
The Earls of Galloway were distant cousins four hundred years ago, likely not even a descendant or a King. How could they claim the throne?
