The
Triapartito collapses as the Republicans elect a new right-wing leader, Conservatopia, who then leads them to triumph in the resultant snap elections, with the party consolidating the right-wing vote and leapfrogging its former allies in the Democratic and Other parties to become the number one party in Cassia. The Democratic and Other parties subsequently negotiate
Triapartito Mark Due with the Greens to give them a majority of one. However, in a surprising turn of events Cath announces that his conservative
corrente within the Other party will refuse to support the government, leaving it once more short of an overall majority. Finally, six moderate Republicans receive
bribes “reassurances on policy” and, more importantly, a share of cabinet and ministerial posts and agree to form an independent-Republican grouping within the Chamber of Deputies in support of
Triapartito Mark Due, giving it a majority of 79/157 (1 seat). The Constitution party collapses completely, partly due to Conservatopia’s emergence as a standard bearer for muscular conservatism but also because of press revelations that it has in fact been acting as a front for the Cassian silage Mafia, the scourge of rural Cassia. The Silage Mafia are nonetheless able to secure representation via the newly formed, populist ‘No-Avatar Party’ and pledge to deliver a ‘good service’ for their constituents.
