OK, what he did was stupid, but I really don't think it's worth ruining his life over a juvenile mistake like that.  Give him 30-90 days or something, but certainly not 20 years.

OK, what he did was stupid, but I really don't think it's worth ruining his life over a juvenile mistake like that.  Give him 30-90 days or something, but certainly not 20 years.

only if he's mentally ill and someone else talked him into it.  Screw this guy, people could have died.  It's not a mistake to do a thing.  A mistake is an "ooops, I didn't mean to do that" not "oops, I didn't mean to get caught doing that".
