How about if we try getting some real pollsters for a change?

KY is only likely R at the presidential level, this doesnt bold well for McConnell, who is being challenged by McGrath.  Beshear will win.

Yeah, Beshear is strongly favored now.

Didn't Mason Dixon have Mitt Romney winning nationwide?

I didn't notice until now that the poll has Bevin losing independents by 8%. That can't be good - for him at least. It's great for Kentucky, but not Bevin.

This is nonsense. KY is only a Lean R State on the Federal Level. Former Governor Steve Beshear got elected twice in KY and was one of the most progressive Governors in the Nation. ALG got elected twice as SoS. Folks like Luallen, Edelen and Stumbo got elected. KY has a very progressive lean on the State Level.

Most of those Democrats were not particularly liberal, but they did better in elections than more conservative Democrats would have done.

You’re using a poll from over six years ago to try to discredit a result you don’t like

Bevin is using ideas from 600 years ago to discredit a world he doesn't like.

I didn't even notice this was an LV poll. What do we know about the LV screen?

Are we stuck in the "Moscow midterm" of 2014, or are normal people more likely to vote now?

Since KY clearly loves fiscal conservatism so much, I say the next Democratic president should do them a favor and try to pull all benefits from the state.

If we're too wussified to do anything about Bevin, I guess we deserve it.

And of course in 2015 as well when Conway was leading in every poll but one which was tied. Then Bevin outperformed the polls by 11.7%.

Ever think maybe it's not the polls that are off?

It's like on 'Cops' when the cop says, "So all these witnesses are lying?"

If Bevin wins, he cheated. End of story.

I'm still impressed how far you'll go to not accept the political reality of your state.

Read my 'Cops' post again.

There's a huge "Republicans for Beshear" page on Facebook. If Bevin is so popular like everyone claims, why is there no "Democrats for Bevin" page?

Lol. A page liked by 900 persons ?? That’s your proof that KY-Gov will flip ?

It's 900 more than the "Democrats for Bevin" page has.

I would love to see your face when Bevin will be re-elected by at least 6 points in two weeks. By the way there are probably more D registered voters who are crossing over for Bevin than the contrary

This very poll said Beshear had a big lead among independents.

Right. Unlike #RepublicansforBeshear, they privately go out and vote without telling anybody, instead of proudly displaying so on Facebook.

If I was for Bevin, I'd be pretty ashamed of it too.

Bevin doesn't need a single vote from Kentucky voters who still consider themselves Democrats. That doesn't count those who are technically still registered as Democrats but consider themselves Republicans and would rather get arrested and thrown in prison than vote for a Democrat. So of course "Democrats for Bevin" isn't a thing, but he doesn't need it to be.

He needs for independents to not vote against him.
