And yes, they're Muslims:

They’re the refugees that Trump tried to stop. But now they’re here, and they’re ‘becoming Americans.’

And we can definitely accommodate far more than just them.

Count on a large number of Kurds arriving in the United States very soon... thank you President Trump!

Not only Trump's Immigration policy is cruel, it's also based on pipe dreams and counter-productive.

Please don't let fuzzy read this. He'll either have an aneurysm, or going to a nonsensical old coot like three paragraph diatribe that somehow mangles together cherry-picked inapplicable scripture with references to mid-level 1970s and 80s politicians, ultimately just to make the point that brown people coming to the country are bad

I'd hardly call people who travelled through a near dozen countries to reach a 1st world country(Australia) only to go to another one refugees. It isnt evil to want a much better life than just a safe one but it is probably an abuse of the term refugee .Just call em migrants. Anyway I wish them the best of luck in succeeding here.

The article wasn't about them becoming citizens but starting their lives here.

Did it even actually say where they're located? It sounded like it was saying they live in American Samoa.

In my experience, there is no more politically engaged segment of the population than resettled refugees.

Nauru is where the camps were set up, since arriving they've dispersed and have begun lives in various places, with the section I read focusing on a few that settled in Texas.

This, more or less.  They're not refugees.
