If this has been done before, please let me know before I post the others.

For each of these maps, color does not imply percentage of votes earned by the winner in that state

Democratic Primaries, 1976

Carter: medium green
Brown: gray
Jackson: light green
Church: dark red
Stevenson: medium red
Wallace: pink
Humphrey: light blue
Udall: dark blue
Byrd: medium blue
unknown: white

Do you have the actual data? Or are you just using that geocities website?

That site actually has some mistakes.  In 76D, for example, it has AL, NJ, and RI incorrect.

I don't have the actual data, just various sources' descriptions of various states' contests.  Does anyone know of a better source for primary information?

I did a 1988-D one once, but I have no idea where it is.  It's presumably way back in the forum's archives...it was probably 2 years ago.

Brown is gray? It would have made more sense if the states Brown won were brown. Tongue Good job though.

Thanks.  I tried to get as close to (the color) brown as I could, so we were on the same wavelengths there. Smiley
