Exit polls had Trump's job approval ratings higher in Minnesota than the rest of the nation in 2018 too. Weird.

Well, this ends Trump's bid for an upset bid in MN, but Dems are likely to carry MN by four

So Trump's approval is at the same 44% he received in 2016.

I'm surprised the 8th only shifted 4% to the right from 2016, should this hold on election day.
I'm not surprised about CD1/CD7 shifting to the left. Yes, the tarriffs aren't going to move 35% of these types of voters to Dems, but they'll have some effect.

Holy sh**t, those CD3 numbers.
And Omar's district moving even more pro-DFL shows that the floor can always drop further.

I also find it interesting that of the "Someone Else 2016" voters they break for Generic Democrat over Trump by a 56-18 margin. I think it shows that the Johnson/McMullin voters wouldn't have broken as cleanly to Trump as people think

Exit polls had Trump's job approval ratings higher in Minnesota than the rest of the nation in 2018 too. Weird.

CNN had Trump doing one percent above average in MN.
FOX had Trump doing 8 percent below average in MN. So average those out, it's 4.5 percent below average in MN.

It’s logical, Trump did one point better in MN than nationwide

High-singles win for just about any Democrat in Minnesota -- at best, "fringe of competitiveness" for Trump. Figuring that Minnesota is becoming more like neighboring Iowa and Wisconsin (remember -- Hubert Humphrey has been gone for forty years now -- even this bodes ill for Trump.

Disappointing since this is a PPP poll. Minnesota will be fairly close, especially if the election is close. If Trump wins in 2020, he will probably put MN in his column.
