Well it was better than that, but I do find it interesting to correlation between the the two shows have a decent early run, then a big boom [ironically for FG that it was cancellation that did it]...and then the show went downhill now that you mention it.

That's true of a lot of shows actually. 'South Park' comes to mind too. Post-'Book of Mormon' it hasn't quite been the same. It's best years were probably between the movie and that aforementioned downhill period though, I didn't care much for its earliest seasons either.
