A big poll! Something a bit different this time. A primary election featuring three British members, myself, Dave and Al

You can either vote if you are a Democrat or if you're not.

if this were a real primary, and using winner takes all (generally speaking)...Afleitch would likely win since hawk and al seem to be splitting the same base.

Agreed.  Populists would be split.

Both Afleitch and Al are great friends of mine but I'd have to vote for myself Wink. As others have suggested, Al and I would split the populist vote; therefore, I think Afleitch would win

Plus those primary voting liberal 'doves' wouldn't want a piece of me Sad and I don't think there are enough Democratic 'hawks' or GOP cross-overs to see me through to victory

I'd probably poll best in my "native" South and in parts of the MidWest - but even there I'd be competing with Al. Afleitch would sweep the West Coast and the more libertarian-minded states in the North East. I guess he'd do pretty well in the Rockies too

Al and DemHawk?  I can't see them both running at the same time.

If it helps for any one who is stuck Grin. Afleitch, Al and I all came up as Conservative Democrats on the Pew Research Political Typology Test

I like all three, especially Hawk and Al, but I vote for Al out of old forum loyalty.
