Getting rid of an incumbent of your party due to some petty ideological differences? Oh dear God, I'm having flashbacks of the Bennite surge now...

To me. ideology is more important than party.  In fact, it's the only reason I will support a candidate, other than perhaps some sort of style/substance issues.  I couldn't care less about political parties when deciding who to vote for.

If Weicker runs, I'll do everything I can to earn him some votes.
