Big gov just sits up there and makes Americans lives harder so why not take all their jobs every election?

Obama was the first incumbent that I would have voted for since Carter.

Blanket opposing incumbents is a bad idea. A better idea would be to examine the incumbent’s track record and see if it aligns with your values.

Opposed.  Some incumbents are worth voting for.

If carried to its extreme one would impose term limits of one term on all officeholders. The problem is that once a government is large enough the bureaucracy becomes complex enough that 2, 4, or sometimes even 6 years is insufficient to understand it well enough to make intelligent policy decisions as an elected official. Such a short term limit would primarily give greater power to the bureaucracy and lobbyists would would have the institutional memory to know what policies most benefit their interests.

It's a stupid, arbitrary way to vote.
