Who do you think is worse? God or Satan?

At least Satan doesn't kill millions of people.

Treating it as if they were fictional entities, they both kill and let die, not much going for either in that particular aspect I suppose. The Devil encourages people to chase their pleasures, which I mostly endorse in real life, but at the cost of a torture-free afterlife, while God guides people to be the best version he likes of themselves, so, good intentions at heart.

I've never liked this sort of things by the way, you don't have to be edgy and deliberately make loaded questions or wild false equivalencies to be an atheist, you know?

Excellent question.

Certainly the Devil delivers better on his promises.

The Biblical Satan is a metaphor for mankind's innate desire to rebel against tyranny, malicious or benign. Big FF.

Satan wants to destroy you. God wants you to accept his endless mercy and have eternal life in His glory. You make the call.

I find it perplexing that when non-Christians ask this question, many only grant us half our story. We're going to accept for the sake of argument that God did everything the Bible says he did, but not deal with the stuff it says Satan did? C'mon.

I choose off-brand cola flavoured drink Tongue

Now seriously, easily God; you don't have to be religious at all to make this call. Might as well ask "What is worse, good or evil?"

The Biblical Satan is a scapegoat used to deflect blame from those actually responsible for causing harm.

The duopoly is a false one, as even after rebellion and being cast out, demons of all mind still work for the Christian deity. We must move to reject the faith and it’s ideas entirely, especially The morality it has constructed.

No, this is what Satan is a metaphor for in His Dark Materials. The Biblical Satan is a Javert-like prosecutor of humanity in a sort of divine court.

That adequately describes the Old Testament Satan, but not the New Testament/Enochian versions written after Jewish theology had been affected by exposure to Mithraic dualism during the Babylonian captivity.

True, but it's not like the New Testament version is particularly interested in human moral freedom either. Maybe the Enochian versions are, but those versions are not "Biblical".

Obviously GOD.

Satan's world is, where all human desires, "ideals" and utopias will be fulfilled.
GOD's world is "locus terribilis iste", as the Church is praying, when a new altare (which is a heaven on earth for us Catholics) is consecrated by the bishop. The Holy Mass speaks of the eternal sacrifice - eternal is only HE, so the Trinity is nothing else than a perpetual sacrifice; a human being being absorbed means: DIVINUM pati, SelfSacrifice, SelfAbDication.

In the supernatural world, GOD is considered to us humans as an alien, who is in control of death. They may not be a Satan. Secular faith call Jesus as the Angel of Death. Its unfair to us humans, that our loved ones lives are cut short.

Hilarious question. The answer is entirely dependent on what definition/interpretation of "God" and "Satan" you start with. Cool Edgy Rebel Satan vs. Malevolent Arrogant Genocidal God is an easier answer, but some eyebrows should be raised considering AFAIK those are only the definitions in...uh..."Satanism."

Like many things it's a question of framing.
