Hmm they would have this done this years ago if we just signed the TPP
The TPP was a disgusting piece of legislation in the sense tjat it gave corporations, lawyers and international courts the right to tell countries and their sub-units (states / provinces)  that they need to shut the f__k up and do nothing while the environment is totally destroyed to boost corporate profits.

This kind of thing is a HUGE problem already, and TPP was going to take it to another level.

I'd prefer it being in America, but if it has to be somewhere with low environmental and labor standards, I guess let it be the place we aren't angering directly.

Reminder that Vietnam was so desperate to get into TPP that they accepted stringent environmental and labor protections as a condition to sign the agreement, only for it all to become moot once Trump pulled the USA out of it.

That's not how TPP worked. TPP worked by having Obama ignore slavery in Malaysia.
