It's interesting that he WON'T debate anybody. The only time he will go nose-to-nose with somebody is when he's behind the camera, can edit the interview to his liking so you only get his side and the other person's worst, or when he can dictate the conversation (as when he's giving one of his Stalinesque speeches).

Oh, I think Moore is fun.
Finally, a left-winger who if a genious in propaganda and as stubborn as people can come .
He is certainly extreme in his opinions, but it's his right to be so, and it's certainyl refreshing in a way to to ANTI-gouvernment propaganda for a change.

You shouldn't take his information as fact, but it certainyl always shows parts wich others try to hide.. the truth, if tehre is such a thing, is in between.

Why is it that conservatives so often think of people who question some of the old, ingrained American myths as unpatriotic? I don't like Moore very much, I think he hasn't much more backbone than a Limbaugh or a Hannity, but I don't think he hates America.

It's not that Moore disagrees or dissents.  It's the fact that he creates works of fiction and presents them as "documentaries."  He makes its points by deceiving and by misleading the viewer. Statements are made which are false.  Even speeches shown on screen are heavily edited.  What he does is that he cuts and pastes several words from different speeches, creating sentences in the speaker's voice, but which were not what the person said at all.

Agreed, but that's exactly what Sean Hannity does, although in a different setting. And I still don't think Moore hates America, which was my original point.

although I dont always like what Michael Moore has to say, I find the supposedly right wing monopoly on being "American" abhorant.

Michael Moore is trying to be a good American in his way.

And Fox News, the GOP, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, etc do not have exclusive rights to being American....its shameful when they even imply it.
