July 7-10, 500 likely voters, MoE 4.0%

It’s a partisan poll (Eaton is the former executive director of the Montana Republican Party and a Republican consultant) which should be taken with a ton of salt, but it’s our first poll for this race.

Lean/Likely R. Polarization is increasing, and if Cooney's against Fox, the Democrats should just give up.

R's are favored but it can still tilt to Dems. MO Gov race should be fascinating, with upstart Nicole Galloway

The polls could show Trump losing by double digits and he would somehow still argue Trump has a great chance.

Don’t forget Maryland’s third Senator Matt Rosendale!

Dems shouldn't fret about race, just like AK, MT arent redistricting

Actually, MT is currently on track to gaining a seat after 2020. Thus, Democrats being in control would enable them to at least make one seat (the western seat) as D-friendly as possible.

The difference is that Hill & Rehberg were leading in the polls at this stage of their races, whereas the same wasn’t true for Rosendale.

MT redistricting is controlled by a non-partisan commission.

Regardless, it'd be pretty hard to make two GOP districts without gerrymandering them pretty hard. One is likely gonna end up D-leaning.
