Sanders is probably number one followed by Warren and Williamson.

Reddit's /r/politics also has Bernie winning pretty soundly, and they aren't nearly as high on Bullock as this forum. Atlas just has a weird fetish for him.

Wow, r/politics normally hates Bernie. Of course it could just be the David Brock Shareblue bots get overwhelmed by real people on debate nights.

Best: Sanders, Warren, Williamson, Buttigieg
Middle of the road: Beto, Bullock (the answer on nukes kinda terrified me), Ryan (trade he was great)
Bad: Hickenlooper (boring), Klobuchar (only talked Trump),
Just drop out dude: John Delaney.

Warren/Sanders did the best

Delaney/Bullock/Ryan/Hickenlooper/Klobuchar did the worst. Probably Delaney for least likeable, and Bullock for worst and most disappointing performance.

I absolutely adored Governor Bullock before the debates. However, once seeing the entire 3 hours of the debates, I feel quite ashamed that I was once so pro Bullock. Same with Hickenlooper.

Bernie did not do well. He had no policy substance, couldn't hold his own on the details, and regurgitated the same damn talking points without nuance that he's been hamering out for the past few decades. He in no way got closer to winning the nomination, and he has no appeal to those not already in his delusional camp.

Warren, but I doubt the debate changed anyone's mind.

Nothing happened which fundamentally changed the status quo.  As the clear polling leaders, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are the winners.

Current Grades for this night:

Sanders: A+  (Easily the biggest jump of them all)
Warren: A (A small step up, but she doesn't have much more to move)
Buttigieg: B (Good performance, but still very much platitudes most of the way)
Beto: B- (Another really good jump, I think that stop in Flint was some kind of energizer. A bit weak at the beginning though)
Bullock: C+ (The epitome of hit and miss)
Klobuchar: C- (Tried so hard with stories...but left no kind of impact..at all)
Ryan: D+ (Just a mediocre, droning sort of bad here.)
Williamson: D- (What happens when A+ policies meet a Tommy Wiseau-esque performance? This grade. Unfortunately she's lost the so-bad-it's-good qualities from the last time)
Delaney: F +(Rude and desperate. But he did have some command with dose eyes!)
Hickenlooper: F (Just desperate, and pretty much wrong.)

He's the classic candidate for moderates, especially those who are somewhat culturally conservative (which Atlas seems to have tons of for some odd reason). Knew from when he started speaking some bits of Atlas was going to really like him.

I'd say Warren won overall, but John Delaney made quite an effective case against Bernie and Warren's version of Medicare for All. He exceeded expectations (which were essentially absolute zero for him).

I like Bullock because I think he is the best candidate to push a vision that isn't outrageously far to the left (Bullock/Biden/Delaney are still pretty damn leftwing compared to Obama/Hillary/Kerry/etc). Biden is currently doing pretty well, but I fear his old age, decades of baggage, and lack of flexibility will do him in.

Unfortunately, I think the progressives are too good at getting attention in a very crowded field, and the promise of free crap is too enticing for most people. It might even work in a general election, but it'd be terrible for the country if they actually get their stuff enacted. Complete student loan forgiveness is one of the worst policies I've ever been exposed to in my life.

Warren and Sanders did good, so them. But Biden benefits from this as well because they can keep splitting the vote instead of one of if one of them outshone the other and would then consolidate support. But it's still early.

Sanders and Warren. While it might not change their polling numbers significantly, it does show that Sanders isn´t out yet.

Mayor Pete!

This guy has sound political ideas other than court packing, is well-articulated and making a great impression on the stage. I'm definitely a fan of him. Even though I'd love to see a female running mate for Uncle Joe, I would also love a Biden/Buttigieg ticket. Whoever the next Democrat in the White House is, I hope Pete will be sitting at the cabinet table.

Even though Liz Warren is good rhtorically, I think several of her plans are not realistic, just as it's the case with Bernard. Democrats need to look at 2018 how they won, and that is not on the left end of the spectrum.
