Wow I forgot to put Boise State @ Florida State on here, kind of feel stupid for that one, would've been  much better than one of the Clemson, Alabama, or Georgia games lol

Yeah, just to be clear I have been tailgating and to a Vandy game while my friend was in law school there - I actually thought it wasn’t bad, a bit underrated and probably suffers compared to the conference a bit unfairly - but I would rather spend my time in Nashville, well, doing what we’ll be doing.  I’m just itchin’ for college football, is all, and I’m not sure I’ve seen a top 5-ranked team play in person in 10-13 years.

Huge win for Central Arkansas! Unfortunately the schedule does not get easier until November. The Southland Conference may have finally arrived with Southeastern Louisiana also in line for a major upset.

No one with a worse opening night the Conference USA. Not sure anyone expected FIU to lose this badly, and I think the expectation was the WKU was on its way back, and UAB would remain adequate. Not so fast!

Wisconsin and Rutgers won (Rutgers was actually down 14-0 at one point though), Wake Forest barelyyyyyy survives Utah State. Colorado is currently down to Colorado State but we shall see if that holds...G5 is having a good week (week 0/1)

All the offseason hype surrounding Wake Forest's potential to start 6-0 is not looking misplaced. Despite a horrible O-line, poor run game, and a defense that is a shell of its former self, surviving the toughest test (thanks to inopportune turnovers by the opponent) is a great start.

We shall first see if they can survive a road trip to Boston College, which should also not be overlooked! Extremely hopeful that they can take advantage of a weak ACC. If all plays out as hoped, they may even be able to draw a respectable crowd to create a home-field atmosphere against Florida State (and North Carolina State?).

I don't know how to feel about that crazy finish last night (other than anger at myself for going to bed) because Vandy plays Purdue next week.  Either they will come out angry and on a mission or they might just not be that great.  We'll see next week.

Purdue is probably not that great and they'll still crush Vandy.

Memphis offense was shaky, but their defense looks much much better than last year.

Fun fact--The Missouri Valley Conference is a really old conference and predates many of the modern conferences.  The Big 8 (now Big 12 with 10 teams) spun out of it long ago.  So, it's kind of a lol reunion weekend for former members Kansas and Iowa St.

Iowa State narrowly beats Northern Iowa, will Iowa State still be ranked though?
