Would you find this an acceptable compromise?

DACA has constantly been touted as a method to make sure people aren't punished for their parents(aka them being kicked out into a foreign country they never lived in besides their baby/toddler years. However at the same time some Democrats at a presidential level want to make sure that the DACA parents also receive that protection. I don't believe that most Americans would basically support a psuedo anchor baby policy and a decent portion of Americans don't support DACA citizenship either.  I think the best path to fulfill DACA's goals of not punishing children for their parents 'crimes'(I don't really see crossing a border as a bad crime) is to punish the parents by requiring any greater than 18 DACA recipients to report their parents to a proper deportation agency.

Anyway I just thought of this but I was wondering what people think of this.

It's not an acceptable compromise because it'd completely negate the purpose of DACA since nobody who's eligible would actually, y'know, sign up for DACA if they'd be required to literally give up their parents.

Anyway, I think if you're desperate enough to immigrate to the US that you deliberately get yourself pregnant and have a baby while illegally on US soil, you probably have a good reason to need to come to the US.
