Manchin, because my views tend to manifest as more right-wing on culture than on fiscal/economic issues. This basically becomes a question of which state has better politics.

(This is not a denial that "fiscal" and "social" policy are largely the same issue – class – in reality, but United States Senators do not operate in reality.)

I would vote for many Republicans over Manchin. His role in the Mylan business alone is enough to indict his character. The man is not a centrist, but a monster. There aren't many worse than him in Washington.

Sinema is just a moderate Democrat.

Citation badly needed. His daughter is a 50 year-old woman with agency.

Manchin. He represents a way redder state than Sinema, so he has an excuse to vote the way he does.

Manchin is more right wing than Sinema even on Economic issues .

Heather Bresch built a corporate career on her family ties. For God's sake, she had her MBA shredded over this. I wrote several posts about this when it blew up. These people deserve nothing but scorn.

Is she the product of complete meritocracy? No, certainly not. But this could be applied to thousands upon thousands of executives in this country. I think most parents in this country would use their professional status to help their children enter a company, and that she got a clerk job at Mylan while he was a State Senator is pretty uninteresting to me.

But beyond that, the ethics (or lack of) of Bresch's work are an indictment of her. Adults have their behavior shaped by their parents to some extent, but I think it's a major reach to scold Joe Manchin for the business practices of his daughter.

Manchin seems a little to Sinema's left on economic issues, so I guess him.

The ex-Mormon who decided to go all woke and Jill Stein-esque nuts before opportunistically cleaning house to become Republican-lite?

The answer's Manchin.
