Not sure how this is a good idea considering how Georgia is trending. I feel like you can't just be a generic Trump shill here.

I'm sure #CobbCountyWineMoms will love a Black preacher as Democratic nominee

They'll have Ossoff on the other side to satisfy those desires. Because double headers rarely diverge in outcomes, it has been the Democrats goal (on paper) to get a Atlanta White on one side and a African American on the other, to try and juice energy among both constituencies.

Didn't think of it this way but this makes a lot of sense and is very smart...

Loeffler apparently caught for insider trading.

Honestly, this isnt good news in terms of the Senate race. Basically solidifies that Collins ( the stronger candidate) will be republican.

They're both weak General Election candidates. The GOP will slide even further in the suburbs with Collins.
Collins is actually a solid candidate for the general. Think of it this way-- if Trump wins, so does Collins, and I could envision him outrunning Trump a bit. I can not say the same of Loeffler, particularly after this.

Collins would be toxic in the suburbs.

Kemp was supposed to be too.

Kemp wasn't as far-right as Collins is.

It's almost laughable how bad Loeffler is at all of this.

Is Warnock still a decent recruit or did the car scandal ruin him?

I think I saw that he raised $1.6 million, which was alittle less than Collins ($2m) and more than Loeffler ($1.1 mil) so I think once him and Ossoff win their primary, he'll stand more of a chance. The car scandal seems to have evaporated

Perdue getting increasingly desperate, now calling himself a "political outsider"

If she drops out the Democrats need to force everyone out and endorse Warnock.

No, they need to force Warnock to drop out and endorse Lieberman (i.e. the strongest - or rather, least weak - Democrat running).  Of course, they should be spending on the regular Georgia Senate race since unlike Warnock or Lieberman, Osoff actually has a chance of winning even if it's a long shot and the money would be much better spent on Maine, North Carolina, Montana, and (if Kobach is the Republican nominee) Kansas.
The candidate who has $1 million more cash on hand, endorsed by the largest vote getting Democrat in the state’s history, and to be frank- the candidate who is Black in a state where 2/3 of the votes Democrats will get in November and a run off will be Black needs to drop out because of some polls six months out when NO ONE has been campaigning? Nah.

Agreed. Also....in what world is Ossoff better than Warnock?

Yeah, Ossoff literally lost a special election race in 2017 that should have been a slam dunk win.

No? 2018 was a wave year with Democrats winning the popular vote by 9%, and McBath *just* skated by for a win. Ossoff only lost by like 2% in 2017 b/c the race got nationalized. Pure and simple. These takes that Ossoff was a bad candidate and had a horrible loss don't jive with reality, especially in that district that still wildly swung left despite Ossoff still losing.

i mean, this is the Bill Barr DOJ. Unsurprising that they let her off the hook in an election year.

Either way she's still cooked.

That's why it irks the hell out of me when "pols" on Twitter like Niles say people like Warnock were bad picks because their fundraising has been lower and they're less visible. Fam, there's been a pandemic the last 3 months, and that's right after he announced. How the hell was he was supposed to be visible?

For how he's been criticized, this is actually a great haul.

Is Loeffler trying to lose at this point? Her feud with the WNBA and Black Lives Matter is going to turn away any possible chance at *any* moderate Republicans voting for her.

For all the handwringing about Warnock, Collins is a pretty bad fundraiser. Warnock raised over 2X this amount. Needs to get his message out more. Not a lot of enthusiasm out there it seems for Collins OR Loeffler

Warnock got some great coverage from the service yesterday. He should be launching those ads now to build on the momentum of people actually seeing and hearing from him.

So none of the dems are gonna drop out huh? this is really starting to look like a likely RvR race if even Tarver drops out it will help the d's a bit but I don't think its gonna happen

Interested to see what happens with Warnock once he starts airing his TV ads this month.

Then again, we've also just had truly sh**t polling with this race for a while now.

I also don't buy that Liebermann is really leading Warnock. The most recent poll is that Monmouth one, which was questionable to say the least, and we also had that one poll not that long ago that had Warnock at 19%. We haven't had a really good poll in a while. (the weighting on the Monmouth one was horrendous)

Is that true though? Warnock's team said they were spending nearly $3M on an ad campaign for August.

Also, what was Warnock supposed to do though? People speak in platitudes and just say, "he shouldn't of been out there~~!!!!!!" but what does that actually mean? I don't think Warnock could've done anything in that time period that really would've moved the needle for him one way or the other.

People I think get way too inside with these things and like Pollster said, a lot of people are just tuning into the race now.

All this bullsh*t may help Loeffler win the primary, but she is going to keep pushing away any chance of getting moderates in the runoff.

Yeah, this could be a perfect storm for Warnock right now. He's going to get an infusion of cash from the SC stuff over the past week and Abrams + Obama have now endorsed. If this doesn't get Dems to pull over to him, I'm not sure what else will
