I read the article too. Why he would publish this perverse fantasy and then run for Senate in Georgia two years later is beyond me. He seems to have the political instincts of Kelly Loeffler.

I also don't buy that Liebermann is really leading Warnock. The most recent poll is that Monmouth one, which was questionable to say the least, and we also had that one poll not that long ago that had Warnock at 19%. We haven't had a really good poll in a while. (the weighting on the Monmouth one was horrendous)

I'll buy into the very high probability that Warnock does much better than any other Democrat in this race on election day, but as long as polls continue to show him and Lieberman trading places, the latter is going to want to stay in the race. The state party is better off prioritising Ed Tarver's departure, as he has been trailing both consistently (outside of that one Republican poll that didn't seem to include Warnock).
